Ortho Technology’s Quick-Fit™ Metal Injection Molded Buccal Tubes are available bondable or weldable featuring a long pad design with 80 gauge foil mesh. The tubes have a 3.5mm mesiodistal measurement and smooth finish for patient comfort.
Ortho Technology’s Quick-Fit™ Molar Bands and Metal Injection Mold Buccal Tubes are available loose or assembled with band, tube and lingual attachment.
During the standard preweld of the buccal attachment to molar bands, the main archwire slot is centered occlusal/gingivally, and the hook is always placed towards the gingiva. Standard angulation is always 0 degrees, which means the main slot runs parallel with the occlusal margin of the band. The mesial face of the tube bisects the buccal cusp on the maxillary arch, while on the mandibular arch the main body of the tube is centered on the buccal indent.
Standard preweld position of lingual attachments to molar bands are as follows for each attachment:
Lingual Sheaths, Cleats, and Lugs are centered mesial/distal as well as occlusal/gingival.
Buttons are centered on the mesial cusp and are offset 1mm towards the occlusal margin from the
center of the band.
Molar bands are available as kits containing half right and half left in quantities of 80, 150, 300, and 600. Buccal tubes and assemblies are available in quantities of 50 or more.
